Big Ben Cory conquered all, including the mud, to claim top honours at round three in the Australian National series held in Thredbo.
One of the most demanding circuits, Thredbo's Cannonball run is well renown for inflicting pain on would-be kings and queens and when it's sodden with slop from torrential down pours it is more of a rip 'n' tear than a clean bite.
The big man from Canberra, one-time world Junior champ, Ben Cory took out this round by smashing the mountain and his opponents by more than three seconds to claim top spot.
Once again Claire Buchar stamped her authority in style, whooping the gals by six seconds to grab the top ladies prize. That's back to back wins for a rider who is certainly proving to be a cut above all comers!
