Those who have ridden a Norco Fluid know it. The specs tell you all mountain 5inches, but this baby has the plushest of rear ends that defies logic. A true Horst link four bar tried and true that can climb like a goat and decend like a gazelle.
Now more than ever is the time to take a second look at an 07 Fluid. Performance to boot, without the price tag of 2009!
We reckon this is one of the best start-up dealeos on Cyclenet - bang for your buck.
Will go quickly....
We've said it before and we'll YELL it again. You just can't beat a Horst link four bar rear end on a trail dually. Why do you think all these other companies do so much R&D on new-fangled bike butts? They are all trying to get the same blistering performance as the Horst link four bar.
When little jimmy wants a mountain bike, he is faced with a multitude of dilemmas - none more pressing than his constant lack of pocket money. Ordinarily, he'd have to settle for a cheapo hardtail even though like any red blooded kid, he croons for a slushy duallie. But alas those slushies are but a dream...often demanding twice the price of a hard-ass huckster.
Never fear little Jimmy, for we have beat one of the dealers into submission and he's kindly offered up this real bouncy bouncy at the price of a buttock-bruiser.
We love four bar bikes. But we really want to marry those that incorporate the Horst link pivot point. This little circular gem is the very reason we see five thousand new platforms every season - most of them a waste of R&D clams. They are all trying to emulate what the good ol' Horsty does sooo well.
It dampens pedal feedback - regardless of the sexy shock you might have in your rear (ouch!) but above all provides a near vertical axle path in travel that minimizes feedback into the suspension and braking systems, allowing YOU to enjoy the bike and think of nothing else.
When we say Mr Universe we don't mean a juiced-up Franco Columbo from the late 70's kinda beefcake. We is talking about the most perfectly proportioned frame in the business. Sublime Symmetry is what they judge on (or they were when I was bangin' back THEN) and the FSR Expert is the benchmark in this area. Not too many muscles, but more than enough to get the job done. If you ask the Expert to do some fancy aerobic stint on stage, she'll cut-up and pose down any competitor.
